Entering it's 5th year, The Philo Basketball Bucket Club encourages players to set goals and work towards them in the off-season, because at Philo Basketball we believe "HARD WORK ALWAYS PAYS OFF"
Honorable mentions went to Cambridge junior Jesiah Barnett with 19 points, 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds; Philo senior Drew Wright with 13 points and 10 rebounds; John Glenn senior Caleb Larrick with 10.6 points and 8.0 rebounds; Tri-Valley junior Nohah Nichols with 13.3 points and 8.3 rebounds; Maysville sophomore Gator Nichols with 15.1 points and four rebounds; Tri-Valley junior Max Lyall with 11.5 points and three assists; and New Lexington junior Bentley Hanson with 16.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
4 Electrics received post season honors for 23-24 season. Senior Drew Wright, Juniors Talon Preston and Cooper Radcliffe and Freshman Rusty Trout were honored by coaches and media. Wright, Radcliffe, Trout. andPreston were each honored by District 12 and the East District while Wright and Trout were honored by the MVL.
Senior Drew Wright was named unanimous first team All MVL, 1st Team District 12 and 2nd team East District.
Junior Cooper Radcliffe was named 2nd team District 12 and special mention East District.
Junior Talon Preston was named honorable mention District 12 as well as honorable mention East District.
Freshman Rusty Trout was named 2nd team District 12, Special Mention East District, and honorable mention All MVL.
